Pueraria Mirifica is an Asian plant that is commonly used in products for enlarging women’s breasts.
All women have insecurities, and for a lot of females, they are too big to overlook. Many will opt for surgery to alter their body parts so they can boost their self-esteem.
Breast enlargement and hip enlargements are the most common surgeries that women undertake for aesthetic reasons.
Whether it’s to shape their body, add a few cup sizes, or give their breasts a little boost, thousands of women undergo the procedure to improve their appearance.
Plastic surgery has become extremely popular and offers a way to accurately alter the body to the client’s specifications after their genetics have left them dissatisfied.
However, with the growth in popularity of plants such as Pueraria Mirifica, scientists and doctors have done plenty of research into herbal medicines and how they can be used for shaping the body with no side effects, rather than having to pay for lengthy and painful surgeries.
The research has been focused around the group of plants referred to as ‘Kwao Krua’ which includes Pueraria. Below, you’ll find a history of the Kwao Krua and how it has most popularly been used over the past several years.
History of Pueraria mirifica
Pueraria Mirifica is native to the Burma capital in the Asian region.
It is grown mostly in Thailand where large scale plantations have been created to meet demand.
The plant dates back to the 13th century AD and has always been used as a drug in the medicinal industries.
Old stories suggest that eating the roots and leaves of the plants provide people with new levels of confidence and keeps skin looking fresh and youthful.
Pueraria Mirifica is also supposed to encourage longevity and prolong one’s life. The people of Burma kept the uses of the plant a secret for as long as possible to keep it for themselves, until it was discovered and taken from the area.
Despite its medicinal background, in the modern day, the cosmetic uses for the plant have become popular thanks to the published works of Luang Anusang.
Anusang claims the plant helps to improve skin texture all over the body, as well as improving memory and reducing the symptoms of aging suc
h as wrinkles and grey hair. It is also known to boost a person’s confidence.
In 1952, research by Dr Kerr was published in the journal of the Siam Society which showed the plant had even more to offer than first thought.
The analysed research by Dr Kerr found that the plant is ideal for naturally increasing the size and shape of breasts for women.
It was also found that the plant can encourage the growth of body hair; ultimately leading to the discovery that Pueraria is a great way to balance the hormones throughout the whole body.
Uses of Pueraria mirifica
Research has proven that the plant has many uses for the human body, with a strong focus on the ability to enlarge women’s breasts naturally.
Another main use has been the discovery that Pueraria Mirifica helps to reduce the symptoms of menopause and other conditions we develop as we get older.
It has also been used to increase libido and aid weight loss.
Breast enlargement with Pueraria
Pueraria Mirifica has a major effect on the enlargement of women’s breasts. As previously mentioned, there are very few women who are entirely happy with their bodies, and most have an issue with the size and shape of their breasts.
There are a number of ways to undergo breast enlargement which can include plastic surgery. But, whilst the surgery route is long lasting, there are a lot of risks and it can have a seriously bad effect on the human body.
The body struggles to maintain the requirements of the plastic surgery, and requires several check-ups and financial instalments.
Of course, the biggest advantage of plastic surgery is that it can be done on any part of the body, is easily accessible and can shape and form your dream body.
However, Pueraria mirifica is a natural way to make breasts bigger that does not have any further side effects on the bodily functions for the individual.
It is indicated that at least 70% of the women who have used the plant have noticed changes in the size and shape of their breasts.
As well as increasing the size of the breasts, the plant also has a visible effect on the breast’s skin and hides stretchmark.
By naturally enhancing breasts with plants and medicines, you are more likely to gain a few stretch marks as the skin will need to stretch around the new breast tissue. Stretch marks can occur as a result of enlargement or reduction of a body part.
Most women have the fear of losing the size of their breasts or experiencing sagging over time after enlarging them. Usually, as women get older, the size of their breasts begins to diminish anyway – leaving women extremely self-conscious.
However, unlike this inevitable sag women experience even more so with plastic surgery, this isn’t the case with Pueraria Mirifica. It is an all-natural solution so the breasts do not sag over a period of time after treatment.
Not everyone will experience the same growth rate from the plant, however, there will be a specific prescription amount to take and use each day, and this should not be overdosed in the hope to speed up the process.
Improvement of the skin
Pueraria Mirifica will remove and reduce the visibility of wrinkles and soften the skin. Our skin is extremely sensitive, and is prone to infection and diseases that can interfere with its texture if not treated with care.
The skin’s texture is very important for maintaining the effectiveness of the skin’s metabolic reactions.
Because it is the only part of the body that is highly exposed to the environment, it is also exposed to severe weather conditions that damage it.
Therefore, people tend to be more cautious towards things that might cause skin damage.
Wrinkles and patchy skin is usually caused by aging or severe weather conditions.
Since people always want to look younger and have smooth skin, they tend to use a combination of several medicines and lotions to improve skin texture.
Pueraria mirifica has been proven to have a great effect on the skin, reduce wrinkles and hide scars and stretch marks.
Application of the plant in powdered form – as prescribed – enhances the skin protection and smoothness.
In appearance, the plant will make any individual look younger. In ancient times, it was believed the plant helped to increase one’s life span due to its ability to reduce skin rashes and wrinkles and also improved the skin smoothness.
Research has been conducted to find the true effects of the plant on the human skin.
Studies
A group of women were given a sample of Pueraria to use and were allowed to use different drugs they already knew of to try reduce their wrinkles.
Others were only allowed to use the Pueraria mirifica. The samples were offered in the form of capsules and supplements.
The testing period took a number of days, after which the women were invited back to the same venue. It was easy to identify the women who had used the Pueraria mirifica as the texture and smoothness of the skin had changed noticeably.
A small portion of women who used other drugs to smooth the texture of their skin saw no or very little change.
In addition, those who noticed changes in their skin colour and texture after using Pueraria mirifica did not experience any other side effects damaging the skin and body.
Aging
Apart from fighting wrinkles, the plant also fights the symptoms of aging. Aging is described as the physical nature of a person when they continue to grow. Symptoms of aging such as greying hair, loss of memory and poor blood circulation have been found to improve with the consumption of the plant. (Trisomboon, 2006).
As we age, our head and facial hair tends to lose colour and become grey and white.
The plant’s source of flavonoids and miroestrol compounds have been proven to support the body in fighting these issues related to aging (Trisomboon, 2006).
Irrespective of the age of an individual, using the plant also increases memory.
Memory is the ability to recall on occurrences and to store information in the brain. Loss of memory is common for a lot of people, but the older people get, the more common it becomes. Consumption of the plant increases the sharpness of the memory (Trisomboon, 2006).
Aging people who were tested to see the effectiveness of the drug on the memory confirmed that at least 60% noticed an improvement. However, the way the plant affects the memory has not yet been fully identified.
Libido
Libido is the sex drive of an individual. In some instances, Pueraria has increased sex drive. However, the plant is more commonly used for women experiencing a hormonal change in their body, rather than increasing libido. It is not recommended for men to use the plant as a tool to improve sex drive either, as it may upset the hormonal balance in the male body.
It is normal for women and men to have low interest or totally lose interest in sex for periods of time.
Low libido can upset a lot of people and affect their relationships as partners may feel withdrawal and distant from their partner.
However, low libido is not permanent. Different remedies have been developed to increase the libido of both men and women.
It has been observed overtime that the Pueraria has had a positive effect on the sex drive of women.
Disclaimer: The plant has not yet been scientifically proven to increase libido and research into how it might do this continues.
It also increases vaginal lubrication which is a good indication of sexual interest.
Menopause
Menopause is the stage where an older woman’s body changes so they are no longer capable of conceiving and the reproductive system diminishes.
When menopause arrives it brings with it many negative symptoms.
The signs of menopause include dryness of the skin, irregular periods, mood changes, night sweats, hot flashes and weight gain.
The symptoms may sometimes be so severe that the hot flashes can burn the groins and the irregular periods come with a lot of pain.
Pueraria mirifica has been found to have characteristics that reduce the menopausal symptoms and also relieves women from feeling any painful passage into the menopause stage.
Benefits of Pueraria mirifica
The use of the plant to benefit the body is often strongly focussed on protecting and nourishing the skin.
In most cases, researchers do argue about the benefits and the uses of the drug: Some researchers claim that breast enlargement is merely a side effect of using the plant because it can only really be used for cosmetic and beauty regimes, rather than creating distinct change in the breast’s size.
In addition to the breast enlargement benefits, the plant has become well known in the Cancer research industry – offering potential to new treatments for those suffering with hormonal based cancers, or preventing them from the beginning.
Below are a number of other benefits the plant offers. There are many uses for the plant, and the different ways to use it may lead to a number of different benefits being produced.

Hair
As we’ve previously discussed, the plant can help the growth of hair and its maintenance during the menopause for women.
However, it is not only used by older females. The growth of hair is accompanied by other benefits: The hair can become very soft, full of colour and naturally healthy.
Women love to have healthy hair, especially when it’s achievable without chemicals.
Vaginal health
The vagina is a sensitive part of the body that requires plenty of attention to keep it healthy and clean. Natural lubrication of the vagina helps ensure it stays healthy. However, one of the major side effects of menopause is vaginal dryness which is why women look elsewhere to alleviate this issue.
In Thailand, women consume the drug during menopause to increase the health of their vagina. This consequently has a positive effect on libido and sex drive.
The vaginal health is therefore increased when taking the plant as a supplement. This is still a side effect when using the drug for other things such as libido, memory improvements and skin smoothing.
Skin
Different organisms affect the skin and increase its vulnerability. The use of the plant can smooth the skin and offers a youthful look.
The use of Pueraria as a moisturiser helps the skin produce collagens that smoothens the skins and makes it light and tender.
Bones
Not only does the plant help the external body, Pueraria mirifica also has an effect on the bones.
The drug can strengthen the bones by increasing the calcium production within the bones. This is the result of the estrogen compounds in the drug.
Normally, after menopause, women tend to have low estrogen which leads to low production of calcium in the bones. It results in brittle bones and ultimately the whole body becomes weaker.
The low estrogen leads to weaker bones and conditions such as osteoporosis. So whilst many women use the drug for menopause, other, younger individuals are prescribed Pueraria to strengthen bones and prevent joint and bone diseases.
Breast cancer
Pueraria mirifica has some effect on cancer development in the breasts. However, research still needs to be done to establish how the plant affects cancerous cells and how this can help us find a cure.
It can however be used in prevention of cancer. It is believed that it enhances the growth of anti-cancer cells in vitro.
The benefit is usually seen by ladies who been prescribed the supplement for breast enlargements.
Cream and Pills
The plant is sold in a variety of forms, and their benefits are dependent on their use. There are creams, powders and pills currently available.
The creams are applied to the body and massaged until absorbed. They are applied onto the skin directly and increase the smoothness of the skin. They can also be used to reduce the, wrinkles and stretchmarks.
The pills are consumed orally and are in a variety of forms. They help to treatment issues within the body. The capsules strengthen the bones, encourage vaginal lubrication and improve the growth of the hair.
The pills are sold by prescription and doctors will advise on the dosages to use. It is essential to stick to these dosages and be careful not to overdose.
The creams can also be issued on prescription and instructions should also be followed to avoid complications or side effects.
Using the creams accordingly will prevent an imbalance of treatment so the breasts can grow evenly.
Pueraria Mirifica Indications
It is important to note that the plant has some side effects.
Some of the side effects – including breast enlargements – should always be known by the user before using.
Male users should note that Pueraria products can interfere with their hormonal balance and even cause distinct female characteristics in them.
Most prescriptions are therefore only for the females.
Pregnant women should avoid using the drug whilst expecting in caution to not interfere with the baby’s blood circulation – which could lead to birth defects.
The drug can also induce the menstrual cycle to create a regular pattern, which could potentially abort the baby without the knowledge of the expectant mother. Therefore it is crucial to only use medications offered by the professionals.
In some cases, consumption of the drug might lead to loss or increase of appetite. Loss of appetite may result in losing weight unintentionally.
These are certainly things to be cautious about when using Pueraria treatments. These negative effects are much more likely to occur if dosages of Pueraria mirifica, are not taken seriously. Individuals must always be careful during dosage.
